Besides these 6 characters, were there anyone else on any other sitcom that was handcuffed together? I hope not.

Ralph and Norton-hancuffed together
on Honeymooners

Esther and Fred-hancuffed together on Sanford and Son

Chrissy and Jack handcuffed together on Three's Company

You see that more in daytime soap operas and cartoons. Even more recently, it is hard to find that situation on TV at all!

Larry Appleton and Balki Bartokomous were handcuffed to each other in Episode #46 of Perfect Strangers, "Defiant Guys." Worse yet, it was while Larry was having lunch with Chicago Chronicle publisher R. J. Wainwright!

When Shirley protested a scheduled dog's death, she handcuffed herself to it. Later, Laverne & Shirley were handcuffed together to help try and save the dogs. It was #75- It's a Dog's Life.

I just remembered an episode of Dennis the Menace where George Wilson gets handcuffed to Dennis' friend, I think his name was either Joey or Tommy. Mr. Wilson then had to do a play for the school, since the kid he was handcuffed to was in the play.

What about Chandler being handcuffed to a chair in Rachel's boss' office on an episode of Friends. Handcuffs are just too cliche.

There was an episode of Full House where Kimmy was doing a trick with magic handcuffs, and they didn't work so D.J. and Stephanie were handcuffed together..

Add another one to the list: Saved by The Bell: The New Class. On the episode "The Captain and Maria" Screech and Mr. Belding were handcuffed together.
