I just saw the episode about the lady with the diamonds and how the trio got a new answering machine!! I like the part when Jack went to the roller rink to meet his blind date and couldn't even stand up on the skates. Then when he went to get them both sodas he was trying so hard not to spill the cups as he made it to the table. It looked alot like the episode of "The Honeymooners" when Jackie Gleason(Ralph) goes to a roller rink and tries to hold up two cups of coffee while on roller skates. Coincidence?? Maybe!!:)

Haha!!!! :D I love that "rollerskating rink" scene. It's funny when Jack goes "What is it? Fifty cents? [gives the man a dollar] Keep the change." hahaha!!!

That and the answering machine message scenes are the funniest in this episode.

Speaking about this episode, I have a question.... That song Jack is singing into the microphone with the lyrics "I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pawn, and a king. I've been up and down and over around....." Is that a real song? Who sings it? How does the original sound like? I'm just curious if it's one of John's favorite songs because he sings those lyrics twice within Three's Company's run. I can't remember which other episode it was on..... Anyone know? :happyface

I enjoy that too, but my favorite part was when they were going to escape by going down the window w/blankets tied together and he hanging from the window! I thought that was really funny! and then Larry was really funny too! :D

Yes it's a real song. Frank Sinatra sang the original. It's title is "That's Life".

I really like that song too! and was also wondering who sang it! (THX LILFACE23)!

He sings this song in "BIRD SONGS" I think that is the title of the episode! When Janet has the FS tickets and Jack wants them to take a girl out. And so does Chrissy, and when Janet gives one to him and Chrissy, Jack gets Chrissy's by telling her a story and when he goes to call the girl, Jack sings it! (does that make sence?!?!)

You know what... If I'm not mistaken, I think Van Halen made another version of it. I'm almost positive he did. Which was a rock version. But Frank Sinatra sings it the best!!!

Yeah! that's the other episode... I havne't seen it in a while, so that's why I forgot..... yeah... if Frank Sinatra sings it originally and this episode has a connection with concert tickets, then it's really a cool connection.... :D

Did you notice that this same guy later worked for Jack in his Bistro?
