I did not see home movies of John on ET, I only saw a small segment on how the 8SR cast is getting along without him. Did I watch the right thing?

Maybe they moved it to a later date cuz of the whole Michael Jackson investigation hoopla. They do that from time to time when there's breaking news.

I loved the interview with the show's cast...especially when Kaley said that they still think John's coming. I also love how they keep pictures of John and Stella everywhere. :(

Blame Michael Jackson I guess. Hopefully ET shows it later this week or next Tuesday. Just keep watching I guess. I'll find out if they will air it anytime soon.

I don't know why they are saying this is his last movie. He did his work for Bad Santa in July 2002. He did his Manhood work a few months before that. The documentary and Clifford movie he recently just did. Here is the rundown of upcoming projects he still has coming, besides Bad Santa:

Documentary: "Given a Chance...A Little Girl's Journey" (54 min)
Movie: "Manhood" (Could be direct to video or cable, if not theatres) (also stars Janeane Garofolo)
Movie: "Clifford the Big Red Dog: The Movie" (wt)
(Wayne Brady guest stars in the movie)

Well, Clifford is slated for a big screen release. No date yet though, could be this spring. wt means "working title."

Manhood was released last January. It was shown at the Sundance Film Festival. I haven't heard anything about the Clifford movie yet. I just looked on IMDB.com and they don't have it listed. Maybe it's in its early stages of production.

Yes, I know about Sundance. But it will be released officially to the public soon, either cable/video or theatres. Examples of other Sundance films John did that got picked up:
Panic - released on cable
Tadpole - released to theatres

I think Sling Blade and Sink or Swim was also a product of Sundance. And of course, Sling Blade went on to theatres and became a hit.
