Has anyone else seen the Don Knotts special on the Biography channel? They aired it a few times before, but I only got to watch it today. Wow, there was so much I didn't know about ol' Mr. Furley. They mentioned that at some point, Don had an eye problem that caused his vision to deteriorate. Everyone on Three's Company was extremely supportive. They tried to help him out when he had trouble during the tapings. Fortunately, he underwent a successful surgery that prevented him from losing his vision completely.

John said that they made fun of Mr. Furley's costumes on the show. Sometimes, they laughed really hard after seeing Don wear clothes that "a mother would never give her son". LOL...those were John's own words. Hehe.

Apparently, Don was also quite the ladies man back in the day. ;)

When was this?? I hope they air it again!!
