I belong to Columbia House's CD Collection Club and I get mail from them A LOT and it includes stuff for thier other clubs and then mostly music stuff... but in this time's mail package I also got this little brochure type thing that had Get a Taste of Classic TV and it had DVD's!!! and Diff'rent Strokes was INCLUDED in the DVD THINGS!!! which means when Facts of Life comes to video it will probably be available in DVD's too!! so now all of those peopel who were bitching and complaining about NOT having DVD's... SUCK IT UP AND BUY BUY BUY!!!! (hehe) be glad i told ya this... it hink we may have just SAVED facts of life and get the ENTIRE set of it...

You can order by going to this URL

I have a special code taht can get you the first movie or dvd for 89cents plus S&H.. but i think it's for my special account.. nto sure.. but I don't think FOL is ont eh website yet.. not sure.. but ENJOY your DVD's EVERYONE!!!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

They did this because I've been communicating with them telepathically. I told Columbia House that good things happen to supporters of the DVD. They fear me, so they listened.

Oh my gosh! I already received the first 2 DS tapes, now am I going to have to cancel VHS and start again on DVD??

Just because DS might be available though, doesn't necessarily mean FOL will be on DVD. They have a large selection of series and only a handful are on DVD at the moment...but this is a good sign!

FOL on VHS tape #1 ships on April 22nd from what I've heard.

I was unsure about buying the videos, but if there are DVDs, I will definitely buy those.

...specially if they have added features. But just plain uncut FOL episodes on DVD would be worth the cash.

Columbida House cannot add "special features" to JUST the DVD's... cuz it wouldn't be fair to the people like me who don't have a DVD player and are getting VHS's... and TJ where did you hear about the whole being shipped April 22nd? I CANNOT WAIT to get my tape int eh mail from them!! But I think that if DS is on DVD that FOL will be too, becuase Columbia House musta got like 50,000 emails from people saying start selling FOL start selling FOL! hehe... so I'm almost possitive that FOL will be on DVD... which is good becuase then more people will buy it and then they might consider releasing the ENTIRE series!! Keep buying!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

They probably will add special features to the DVDs. Almost every DVD has a special feature--some have lots more than others but I would bet on the Columbia House DVDs having special features.
