Nbc wouldn't do that to Kelsey, he's been doing that character for 19 years now and they wouldn't just pull the rug from under him

Please don't feed the trolls, DianeChambers87. What they *want* is to get you upset - notice that when you answered his asinine post he took it up a notch to assure more responses? Trolls die easiest of starvation. When they don't get a rise out of anyone they move on to greener (and more naive) pastures. :-)

They are trying to say that you came to this board to start trouble. You don't even like Frasier, so what was the point of posting that Solomon?

Frasier has it fans and so what if it's low on ratings. It is a great classic show that has had it's share of high ratings. It's a cool show in my opinion and it's not for everyone but for those of us who do watch we love it... :D

You're completely right! I don't get solomon, he must have a lot of time on his hands.

First of all overall ranking doesn't mean S**T and if you don't know that then you had better brush up on your analysis of ratings before you go posting. What is important is how the show does against other programming in its same time slot and potential audience. Frasier has done well enough in that regard (it is one of the strongest things about NBC on Tuesday night - so why would they dump the show in January????) They are actually scared sh*tless about it ending (along with Friends) because it is considered to be a "tentpole" programme that is the only one that has garnered *any* viewership over the past few seasons on Tuesday night. It also is in the top 10 shows for Tuesday night in the desired audience of 18-49 consistently - including the most recent ratings! Do a little research before you post!!!! The latest episode scored number six for the entire night on that Tuesday. For a "Sitcom Analyzer" you don't know *jack*!

If that's not a pessimistic point of view, then I don't know what is.

I was just stating that ever week the ranking is getting lower and lower. So i'm not trying to start anything. I have been looking at the ranking for the last month and it has gotten lower each week.

well good for you, you know how too look up a rating....
for those of us who are real fans of the show.
We just want to enjoy our last season of Frasier.
Ratings really don't matter at this point.
If it was a brand new show, then yes maybe we would worry about it. Otherwise your just trying to start some kind of aggrivation or confrontation. Maybe you should go to another board and post the rating there. We really don't care.

Solomon,

If this wasn't the last season maybe you would have a point about the ratings.

Even so, you are making a joke of it whereas a fan of the show- someone who is supposed to post here - would note the ratings and be discouraged or have a legitimate complaint about something specific.

You just posted general ill-will.

By the way, as the season closes I expect the rating to get higher and higher- culminating in the last episode.

yes...

your right dlemond,

it will go up as the end nears.

I'll miss the show :(

The only that matters is if the show's quality stays. I don't give a damn about ratings.

Why are you people believing him about the ratings??? Overall ratings don't matter!!!!! It is how it does on the night that it is broadcast when competing with other shows during that same timeslot. And Frasier won its timeslot last week!!!! Stop falling into his trap - making you think that the show is somehow failing and about to be cancelled because of some statistic that he pulled out that doesn't have *any* relevance.

But this *is* the last season of Frasier - David Lee, one of the creators of the show, confirmed this. The reason that it won't be renewed is 1) that the actors' contracts have run out and they want to move on to other things now, 2) the network has *never* supported the show and there isn't any possibility that it is going to start now that they have loads of episodes for the syndication gravy train and 3) it is an expensive show to produce (NBC doesn't get as much profit from a "non-network owned" show like Frasier than it does from a "network owned" show like Will and Grace).

As for Zucker, he is doing what he has *always* done to the show - jerking it around!

Enjoy this season! I know I will! Then buy the DVDs and enjoy it all over again! :-))
