I'm just curious... what are some things about society today that you'd like to be preserved, and what are some things that you would like to see gone from our society?

This is a good question.

Well there aren't many things that I actually like today, except women have more respect now more than ever (kind of).

I would change a lot of things but mostly there needs to be more respect for your fellow man. Treat your neighbor as yourself. Or treat people how you want to be treated. That would change a lot.

Preserve....um....all I can think of are certain technologies. Like medical advances and DVD players. Odd combo.

1) Nature, the environment, and wildlife
2) Freedom of speech, thought, and expression
3) True democracy
4) Freedom of belief as well as healthy skepticism
5) Access to information

Things that should be eradicated:

1) Fear, hysteria, paranoia as public policy
2) Fear-mongers and their ilk, i.e., conservative shock jocks
3) Religious bigotry, i.e., bigotry BY religious goose-steppers
4) I don't think there's enough time in one night to complete this list

Preserve the animals that are near extinction.

1. end world hunger
2. end religious discrimination
3. end racial discrimination
4. end homophobia
5. end all diseases...cancer especially

I totally agree! I'm a recycling nut and I seriously get pissy when someone throws something recyclable away.

stereotypes. I wish we could get rid of the hurtful, ineducated, biased stereotypes people have about people. They cause people to judge others they don't know. I think getting rid of those would put and end to a lot of things like racism.

Yep, we recycle everything that is possible recycable. I try and use some things that arent in art projects.
