BebeLilithFan154 11-17-2003, 05:27 PM OK FIRST OF ALL: this is NOT I repeat NOT definitely Lilith's last episode. I heard she's going to do at least three, and I also heard she signed a 6 month contract to finish out the season. We shall see what happens tomorrow night. But, as I said, I doubt very much that this is Lilith's last episode lol. :)

TVGuide.com says....
It was 17 years ago that acerbic psychiatrist Lilith Sternin (Bebe Neuwirth) was introduced on Cheers as a sparring partner---and romantic interest---for fellow shrink Frasier Crane. In 1988, the characters wed, then later divorced. When Frasier spun off from Cheers in '93, Lilith showed up occasionally to bedevil her ex, notably in a 2001 episode in which she gave him romantic advice in a wry fantasy sequence. Tonight Lilith's back for another visit, in which her frustrating attempts to link up with “Frase” are capped by a playful yet poignant reunion.
smokeypeach 11-18-2003, 10:31 PM that was so cool and kinda sweet at the end when the both looked back and funny too with the ending like that i bet or hope she will be on again ill wach my tape like 100 times
I LOVE them together. I understand that she isn't a regular character and I do think that it may be silly for them to get together at the end of the show, since he moved to Seattle to start a new life, but the fact that they spent so many years together and that they have a child together leads me to expect a stronger presence in the final season than just the one episode with the minimal closure they had at the end (especially since she appeared in more than one half-hour episode in several past seasons). Everything about the episode (the David Lee interview, the TVGuide summary, the end) is leading me to believe that this was her last, but I really hope not! :(
MonarC 11-19-2003, 01:07 AM i liked this episode. Frasier & Lilith didn't fight and there were no bad vibes between the two of them. It was sweet. :)
It was funny how Martin wanted Dafney to use that old scary baby crib...
donald snl 11-19-2003, 02:24 AM i enjoyed the ep glad i taped it.
Steve M. 11-19-2003, 11:46 AM I seem to be in the minority here, but I'm finding Bebe Neuwirth's continuing guest appearances to be getting pretty old and tired. How much more can Neuwirth bring to the role of a sexless, overserious automaton of a woman at a time when she could be doing more Broadway? At least Kelsey Grammer, who has played Frasier nonstop since the mid-eighties, knows his character inside and out and tries to find new ways to bring the character to life. Bebe Neuwirth, on the other hand, is repeatedly offering up the same performance of a character she stopped playing regularly a decade ago. This is the television equivalent of watching what's left of the Who hack their way through "Pinball Wizard" and "Baba O'Riley" on yet another reunion tour.
Also, Frasier and Lilith are such diametrically opposed personalities, their moments of tenderness on last night's episode did not ring true. But maybe that's just me.
Brian Damage 11-19-2003, 11:51 AM It was ok.
