Last night's episode was a solid second place with a 7.9/12 in it's timeslot overall and first place among viewers 18-49 with a 4.5, edging the Andy Griffith reunion's first half hour of 4.4. So it seems the series will do just fine. It'll do even better next time, because this week it was up against the Andy Griffith Reunion.

Yeah, I was worried about The Andy Griffith Show Reunion. However, I chose to watch 8 Simple Rules, but it really doesn't matter what I watch, because I don't have the Neilson ratings box. I really hope the show makes it. So far, I've been very impressed by what I've seen.

Pav talked about this before, but I'll just re-lay it here...supposedly it's #9 in the country right now...

Do you honestly still need a Nielsen box for ratings?? I knew that's how they did it years ago, but I just figured they could track what everyone watches through cable companies or just what the TV is tuned to...?
