Any fans of the original Joker's Wild? The show debuted the same day as The Price is Right in 1972 and was a successful comeback for host/creator Jack Barry after being blacklisted for his involvement in the quiz show scandals. It was also the first game show to have a synthesizer theme song, breaking the stereotype of organ music for game show themes. The theme was the Perrey & Kingsley song "The Savers" and it was changed after the second season to an Alan Thicke composition. The Savers was remixed in the syndicated revival's second season by Hal Hidey.
One other thing I remember about The Joker's Wild was Jack Barry asking contestants when time ran out "Can you come back on the next show?" he was used to live TV.
