I don't get Tv Land but I get this awesome station "CTS" and last week they aired a lot of Christmas episodes (that being one of them) it's a great episode.

Is this the episode that is Chuck's last appearance before he mysteriously disappears?

It was on Dec 24th on WGN. Does someone have its schedule?

I notice there's a version with Fonzie talking to Al at the beginning in which Fonz remembers his stay with the Cunninghams. Would that have been in seventy six? or 77?

I've been wondering about that for years. How could Al be in that episode when it says "1974" on the closing credits?
I should have asked Erin (Moran) when I had the chance.

BTW, I do have that episode; recorded about 15 years ago.

This aired here last night, and when I saw Al I thought, what the hell.... but I found this on tvtome.com:

NOTE: This episode features the first shot of Fonzie's apartment. This is also Chuck's last episode, although he is mentioned again later in the season. When this episode was rerun in either 1975 or 1976, there was a newly shot intro where the Fonz prefaces the story, mentioning that Chuck was home for the holidays in the process. This is the only time that Chuck was referred to in the 3rd and following seasons. It was re-capped/re-run twice with a Pat Morita (Arnold) episode and a Al Moliaro (Al) episode.
