There are quite a few I can't stand, so I'll just stick to the long-running ones.

Full House
Friends
Seinfeld
Roseanne
Married With Children

I know they're all popular and well-loved, but I never could get into them.

Since this thread is back, I should state that I actually like Seinfeld now. It's not one of my immediate favorites or anything but it no longer belongs on this list. I'd say The Nanny is probably my new number 1. I really don't know what to replace Seinfeld with. Possibly Veronica's Closet. I remember not liking that show. But I just looked over all the '90s shows on this board and most of them I either like or haven't seen enough of to really judge.

My views have changed since 2003, haha.

All of the shows that followed Seinfeld or Friends:

Caroline in the City
Suddenly Susan
Veronica’s Closet
The Single Guy
Scrubs

Because of the success of Friends and Seinfeld, the networks went overboard in scheduling multi camera sitcoms. It wound up damaging the format, because there were so many mediocre/terrible ones (and yeah, I know Scrubs was not multicam, but it was still unfunny).

I was mad at it for awhile for having a long run and airing on several networks in syndication, while its predecessor DAG that aired in the same slot after Frasier (Scrubs started there in season 1 but later aired post Friends and other places), was cancelled after one season. DAG hasn't even been rerun anywhere since, and I doubt it will get ever get released on DVD. :( While I don't think I will ever be a Scrubs fan, my hate for it has gotten less since becoming a Neil Flynn fan from The Middle.

I had pretty much the same situation. Around that time, every show I chose to watch and record on tape got cancelled. DAG, Cursed/The Weber Show, The Fugitive, The Tick and a little later Andy Richter Controls the Universe. These were shows I really loved and was not only upset when they were cancelled, but I resented all of the new shows that became successful, such as Scrubs, Reba, According to Jim and a few seasons later, The Office. I have since become a fan of Scrubs and Neil Flynn played my favorite character, the Janitor. Reba, I still don't think is very funny but I've come to kinda like it because my mom now loves the show. She suffers from depression and yet is always happy when this show is on. So how can I continue to hate it, you know? According to Jim I still don't like though. While The Office has become one of my favorites. So I no longer hate on the sitcoms of the '00s. I managed to find ones I actually like once I let my anger and resentment go.

None of what I just said is on topic, lol, but I had already typed a comment for this thread. So I'm good. :)

I don't know if The Tick came back later, but the flight I was on a few weeks ago, someone in the row ahead of me was watching an episode of it on their computer.

Yeah, last year I think, Amazon gave it a new season with an all new cast. To be honest I don't even know if it's the same canon or a completely different series but I haven't watched it yet. If it was the same cast, however, I'd have watched it the day it was released.
