I had the opportunity today to watch these two eps.. so great. It made me ache for a DVD release of the show (yet again).
Mr Carlson: "I only counted 7"
Jennifer: "You didn't count yourself"
Andy: "It's a good thing I keep an extra pair of jeans in my office!"

I've seen the "Filthy Pictures" episode a few times and really feel that the roles of Bailey and Jennifer should have been switched. Granted, Jennifer was much more shapely, but the WKRP story line had many of the most powerful men in Cincinnatti eating out of her hand. She was not shy, and dressed in a professional, yet glamorous manner. Bailey, on the other hand, was so shy, she could seldom look anyone in the eye as she spoke to them, dressed professionally, but very conservatively, and was beautiful without being flashy. To face the threat of having nude pictures of her in some dirty magazine would absolutely shatter her and have all of her male co-workers coming to the aid of their "little sister" figure. While Bailey's pretend role of Ginger, the magazine executive, was a good acting opportunity for Jan Smithers, Jennifer's demure strength would have proved more convincing.
I can almost picture a scene just after Bailey finds out about the pictures where she is hiding under a desk or in a closet, because she is so ashamed to be seen even by the friends she works with every day. At the end, when Jennifer looks at the pictures and says "perfect!", I can imagine instead Bailey looking at her pictures with the words or expression that she is learning for the first time that she is really very appealing.
What does anyone else think? Agree or disagree? Discussion?

I don't think it would have worked with Bailey, even though I think her beauty is far superior to that of Jennifer.
Jennifer would have been a far more obvious target for a sleazy girly magazine. Remember, the photographer said that Jennifer's pictures would make him a rich man. I don't think that would have happened with a more modestly proportioned (albeit lovelier) gal like Bailey.
Sigh. Bailey.

Yes, but I can dream, can't I?
Double-sigh.
