Rock wild child KELLY OSBOURNE is facing a ban from future MTV awards following her caustic outburst against pop rival CHRISTINA AGUILERA at this year's ceremony.
SHUT UP! singer Kelly was reportedly confronted in her dressing room by MTV executives following her on-screen verbal assault at the BEAUTIFUL hitmaker.
During the MTV EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS in Edinburgh, Scotland last week (6NOV03) Kelly labelled the diminutive star "a cow" and "a sad, sorry person".
However, irate bosses have told OZZY OSBOURNE's daughter her behaviour was "childish and unnecessary" - adding she may be banned from future events as a result.
A waiter who was delivering champagne to Kelly's dressing room at the time of the ticking off, was sent packing by one of her burly minders.
The waiter reports, "There was a lot of bickering and shouting. I saw Kelly come out later. She stormed out. She was with her minder and was red-eyed and very, very upset."
An MTV insider adds, "Backstage producers made it clear they were really annoyed. They felt it was in bad taste. Put it this way. Kelly's certainly not on their list for the next MTV awards."

MTV AWARDS: KELLY BANNED
WANNABE wild child Kelly Osbourne faces a ban from MTV events for her onscreen attack on Christina Aguilera. Music channel executives confronted Kelly, 19, in her dressing room at the award ceremony.
They branded her behaviour ``childish and unnecessary'' and warned her she might be banned from the channel's future events.
A waiter bringing champagne to the dressing room was told by one of Kelly's minders: ``It's a bad time, come back later. There's a bit of a post-mortem going on in there.''
The waiter added: ``There was a lot of bickering and shouting. I saw Kelly come out later. She stormed out.
``She was with her minder and was red-eyed and very, very upset.''
An MTV insider confirmed said: ``Backstage producers made it very clear they were really annoyed.
``They felt it was in bad taste. Putit this way, Kelly's certainly not on their list for the next MTV awards.''
The telling-off was more painful for Kelly because she knows the MTV bosses well after springing to fame on reality TV show The Osbournes.
She has been feuding with Christina, 22, since cattily mimicking her on the reality show.
And Christina threw the first insult at the awards rehearsals, glancing atKelly and saying: ``Oh, look over there, it's Halloween!''
Kelly labelled her rival ``a cow'', ``c ** p'' and ``a sad, sorry person'' during the live broadcast of the show.
Perth hairdresser John Gillespie, who was at the rehearsals, said: ``I couldn't believe it when Christina dissed Kelly that way in front of the kids who were brought in for rehearsals.''
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 11-10-2003, 12:36 PM Theyre both being childish and stupid, so if you ban one, its not fair unless you ban the other.:o
Lizzie McGuire 11-10-2003, 03:19 PM I'm glad Kelly Osboure might be banned from MTV she destered it, what she said about Christina.

I agree.
Hollow 11-10-2003, 07:22 PM erm she might get banned from a network just for dissing someone? guess MTV doesnt allow freedom of speech. i like christina too but i dont blame kelly for anything.
Dean Winchester 11-10-2003, 07:25 PM how funny, MTV didn't think of banning Eminem after his comments about Moby on the VMA's last year. I think what he said/did was more childish and stupid than Kelly, so why didn't they give him hell about being childish?
You would think MTV would try to keep this "feud" going for as long as possible. It would be good for ratings.

if they insist on making teenagers stars, they ought to be prepared for this ;)

How old are you?!... you sound 70.
ABlairican Pie 11-11-2003, 09:34 AM I dunno, sounds like Christina is getting special treatment. "The bad girl disses the princess." Xtina's hot, but MTV has double-standards.

well, for the most part, most artists who don't become stars until their 20's seem a lot more down to earth than the "teen sensations". Look at Justin Timberlake's ego, and compare that to JC, Joey or Chris from N'Sync, all of whom were in their 20's when they took off, while Justin was 17-18 years old.
MonarC 11-11-2003, 07:23 PM MTV SUX!!!

Not really, people just grow out of it.
I wonder if MTV would be so quick to banish Kelly if "The Osbournes" were still the highest rated show on the network...
Mr. Stefani 11-11-2003, 07:30 PM They should ban both Kelly and Christina's music videos for good. The world would be a better place.

But then, MTV wouldn't be able to make money off of neither one of them again, so that probably won't happen.....

Yeah right Christina did not do everthing of kind, Kelly the one who start it not Christina.
DianeChambers87 11-11-2003, 11:32 PM I think that they banned her so everything would stay neutral. When it comes down to it, it is all about money, and if Christina get's upset over what Kelly's saying they could loose her business...granted if that happened Christina would loose her already dwindling career, but she could go over to Vh1. Kelly is entitled to her opinion but there's a difference between criticism and out-right bashing. I am neither a Kelly Osbourne nor a Aguilera fan but in my opinion if Kelly decides to cuss Christina out for really no specific reason that should upset her, she should be prepared to face and deal with the consequences. The heads of Networks are certainly not going to take sides.
ABlairican Pie 11-12-2003, 12:02 AM When is Kelly's dad just gonna return to being the lead singer of the greatest band in the world, BLACK SABBATH????!!!!
SABBATH and ALL THAT IS TRUE METAL STOMPS MTV'S WORTHLESS FACE!!!

sallydoll 11-12-2003, 09:53 AM im 50 somthing and i never liked mtv well actually im 18 but i never liked mtv.
Dean Winchester 11-12-2003, 10:58 AM the problem with MTV is that in the last few years (I'd say starting 97/98 was when it really got visible), they lost their original purpose and decided on focusing on being a "lifestyle channel" instead of being a music channel. Instead of SHOWING the "video stars" videos like in the past, instead they'd rather show them getting "punk'd" or basing tacky reality shows about them despite never playing their videos, making their personal lives a bigger deal than their songs (I dislike Jessica Simpson, but you know something is wrong when more people know her "chicken of the sea" comment than can even sing one note of her most recent single... when she was supposed to be a singer). As big as Timberlake is (whether you like or hate him, you cannot make any denial that he is a superstar), MTV has shown his Punk'd episode many more times than any of his solo videos, and it's his MUSIC that got him where he's gotten.
People complain about crying over the past and how they need to get over it, but give me the 1981-1997 MTV anyday over this imposter brainless teenybopper brainwashing crap that airs these days. At least back in those days, it at least SEEMED to be about music. Hell, even their non-music programming at least was semi-music oriented in the older days. Remote Control still had the end segment where the guy had to name the 9 music videos, and Beavis And Butt-Head wore Metallica and AC/DC shirts all the time, and for the majority of the series (tho they phased them out in the last year it was on), they watched and critiqued videos on their show. Where the hell is the musical tie-in's on shows like "True Life" and Jack@$$?

If that's her, she better beware. She has alot of enemies on these boards.
If it's not, sorry. We're getting you confused with someone else.
Czas na Zywiec 11-12-2003, 04:05 PM Well I don't know if TJ banned her or her IP. She could also just be at another place in her town. Knowing her, she'd do that. pathetic.

Growing isn't only associated with growing physically, but also mentally. ;) ...To some people's standards, your taste in music, and TV is more mature than most of today's youth.
While most of us still enjoy "Real World," "Road Rules," "Punk'd," and "Jackass," you rather watch something else... like actual videos.
Although I agree with you guys that MTV is the COMPLETE opposite from it's initial focus, I don't exactly think it's bad. Like they say, if you want music, watch MTV|2.
Let's not make this thread in to a "MTV Sucks" thread, we already know it does (when it's compared to it's early days.)

well, IMO, a musicless MTV is as banal and stupid as a sportsless ESPN
