Charlotte Rae is a great actress, and she portrayed Mrs. Garrett with a special touch of love. Cloris Leachman is a great actress, but she can't top what Charlotte Rae could do as Mrs. G. Mrs G for sure.

I don't know...I liked the relationship that the girls had with Mrs. G but the way they acted around Bev was great also. So because I liked the way Beverly-Ann acted a little better I'm going to go with her. Mrs. G rules too so it's Bev but just barely.

Why is this even a topic? It's Beverly Ann. I don't think I will ever understand the appeal of Mrs. Garrett. I simply do not like her. I have to admit, though, the show was more INTERESTING with Mrs. G, because I got emotionally involved in disliking her. She's like Jerri from Survivor.
