Does anybody remember any late-night syndicated shows like The Arsenio Hall Show, The Party Machine, & Puttin' On The Hits?

"Put-put-put-puttinnnnnn' on the hits!"

Man, I haven't seen that show in ages. All I remember is the host who looked like he was the brother of the Greatest American Hero.

"For originality, a 26! For lip sync, a 28! For appearance, a 26!"

Best thing I ever saw on that show was a guy who lip synched Paul Hardcastle's "19." He had green fatigues on and makeup that made him look like an android, and he did the robot the entire time.

I remember the show "Puttin' On the Hits" when I was a little kid. Aunt Debbie has the show on an old video tape from either '86 or '87 that she had taped off of WPIX.

I saw The Arsenio Hall Show & The Party Machine, & the 1984 MCA TV show "Puttin' On The Hits" around 1990 & 1991 on WFLX Fox 29 in West Palm Beach, FL at the age of 4.

I remember all three, and I especially miss seeing Puttin' On the Hits! Man, I should've taped that one.

OMG "Puttin On the Hits"--Allen Fawcett and his perm! The most memorable act I ever saw was a man that was dressed as a man on his right and a woman on his left. He sang the Diana Ross/Lionel Richie duet "Endless Love."

I remember "Solid Gold" on WPIX in NY. Every Saturday night at 8!

I only saw a couple "Party Machine with Nia Peeples." Just didn't do it for me. The dance floor looked like an assembly line in a factory wih those huge pipes comng out of the wall. I think they had a segment where they would teach dance steps.
