Wow! I just realized that I'm seeing Vicki again in 2 weeks. I didn't realize it was that soon. Time went by so fast. I really hope I get to meet her this time. I'm going to try to catch her by the stage door on the outside of the building. But this is Michigan and it will probably be COLD, so I hope she doesn't hurry out right away.

Thanks! Are you counting down the days? I know what it's like waiting 5 months to see someone!

Allison, are you still seeing Vicki in January?

Unfortunately...No. :crying: I'm going to have to ask the casino here nearby and see if they can have her show come here...Oh well. :(

Well, I got back from seeing Vicki again. It was just as good as it was last time. She added a few new jokes. But more importantly, this time I got to meet her! It was rushed, but at least I met her. After the show was over, I left the building and hurried over to the stage door. A couple other people also did the same thing. After about 10 minutes they started bringing the luggage out to the car. About 10 minutes later, she came out with a group of people. They tried to rush her but she stayed to sign a few autographs and she took a couple pictures. Then one of the guys she was with said they had to go. They all got into the car and left. I was very happy to get the chance to meet her! :)

More details, please :D With me, tho, she was doing another show the next night so it wasn't as rushed as yours was and she didn't come into the room with any other people.

How long did you get to talk to her? Did you bring anything for her to sign? Did you have a pic taken with her? Etc. :D

It was pretty rushed. The show started a little late, so they probably had to hurry to get to the airport or somewhere. It was her last night in Michigan, so they could have been going to the airport. I didn't really get to talk to her. I told her I liked the show and that I really like her appearances on Yes, Dear. She said that the cast is darling. I brought the cast picture that Ken Berry sent me for her to sign. I would have also tried to get the program book signed, but it seemed like they really had to go. I did have a pic taken with her, but it was really dark, so I'm not sure how that will come out. One thing that was great was the weather. You really NEVER know how the Michigan weather will be. Surprisingly, it was in the 60s last night, which is probably why Vicki even bothered to sign for people, instead of going right to the car. Today it is FREEZING (in the 20s), so I'm glad the weather worked out. My mom took a couple pictures of her while she was signing for the other people, so hopefully those also come out.

It sounds like you didn't take it on a digital camera -- if you had, you could have sent it to me so I could have brightened it up in PSP (I had a friend who came with me to see Vicki/Mama back in May, who brought along a digital camera, and a lot of the pics came out dark so I was able to make them look better in PSP). But even so, if it comes out too dark I could brighten it up for you. That sound good to you? Just let me know. I do a lot of resizing for a bunch of people here.

Annnnnnnnnyhoo. PROGRAM BOOK?! THey didn't have those when I went to see her! :cuss: Still, nonetheless, I'm glad you got to meet her, even if it was briefly. :D

Nope, I didn't take it on a digital camera. I still have 17 more pictures on the roll of film to take before I can get it developed. That's kind of annoying. The program book isn't an official one or anything, it's just one that the theater makes up. They make them up for each show with pictures and information about the show. They put a biography in Vicki's. I could send it to her to sign someday.
