The internet thieves are at it again.

They've done it with eBay stuff and now they are sending out fake PayPal emails.

They look legit but the link they give you to "update" your information doesn't begin with https:

the s means secure and ONLY PayPal official emails have the "s" after the http:

This is what mine said tonight

Please verify your information today!

Dear PayPal user

PayPal is constantly working to increase security for all our users. To ensure the integrity of our payment network, we periodically review accounts.

Your account will be placed on restricted status. Restricted accounts continue to receive payments but are limited in their ability to send or redraw funds.

To lift this restriction, you need to complete our credit card verification process. At least one credit card in your account has been unconfirmed meaning that you may no longer send money with this or any other card in your account until you have completed the credit card confirmation process. To initiate the credit card confirmation, please follow this link and fill necessarily fields:

I got this one a couple weeks ago. I e-mailed Pay-Pal and never recieved a response (very irresponisble, I thought). My friend got one from Ebay last night; I told her not to do it, I really hope she listened to me.
