I saw this movie tonight and it was really really cute!! Basically Will is one of the funniest guys ever! My friends and I felt that it was sort of a combination of Home Alone and the Santa Clause, but still sooo cool!

I really want to see that movie. That's something my mother and father want to see, too. Hopefully I'll catch it this month.

I think it got pretty good reviews too. I might go see it. It looks cute.

I just saw it. I thought it was great! I thought Will Ferrell was hilarious. Zooey Deschanel was great, I had never heard of her before, but I saw her in this movie and thought she was very good and pretty good looking, if you ask me!

Yeah its the next movie I'm gonna see.

My wife really wants to see it....me, not so much. We saw previews on Saturday and they were funny. I read some reviews about an hour ago which were pretty much in favor of the movie. Maybe I'll surprise the wife and take her to see it today (Sunday). I'm such a nice guy........hey somebody had to say it. :mad:

It does look good, I usually don't go by what the critics say but you guys like it, so that's good enough for me.

I agree. I really liked this movie. Its so charming.

I think that if Will chooses carefully the right roles, he will graduate from SNL Alumni to Movie star grad like Chevy Chase, Dan Ackroyd, Billy Crystal, John Belushi, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, & hopefully, Chris Kattan!!

Possibly because it is. I think I laughed during all the physical comedy stuff, but other than that, it drug on sooooo much.

I saw it today and I thought it was a good funny movie. I haven't laughed in a movie theater for a long time until today.

I didn't see this thread. I asked a little while ago in the 'Christmas Movies' thread who liked Elf. I'm pleased to see that most all of you liked it. I saw it and liked it. My daughter is friends with Jon Favreau. He had a lot to do with the movie. I should cut and paste this thread for him, lol. Pretty darn good reviews.
