I hate pinning it down to just one movie, but I'll say The Last Emperor.

I think MonarC has seen her fair share of movies.

It's all a matter of personal opinion. There is no definitive 'best' movie.

i can't really decide, because there are a lot of good movies out there.

but

american beauty is my favorite. maybe it's not the best movie ever made, and sometimes i'm rather in an action movie mood,

but american beauty is a great movie that deals with a serious and sad subject.

Finding Nemo was a hilarious movie and Practical Magic is the movie I can relate to the most, so those 2 are my favorites.

Casablanca is the best movie ever made.

It has everything- suspense, romance, action, humor, great plot, pacing, incredible acting.

It lacks light sabers and demons for sure, but it pretty much covers everything else you want in a movie.

My best fave movies?

Drop Dead Fred, Spaceballs and Sleepless in Seattle. I could watch those three over and over and over again and never get sick of them!

Come on TJL, what did you expect???

Could have been worse.
It could have been Pluto Nash Bridges of Madison County.

Now that sounds like a winner.

Absolutely. The LOTR movies suck bigtime. I don't know what anyone sees in them. They are way too long, the acting is wooden and they are filled with annoying abstract imagery.
