I agree...only I started feeling this way LAST season (and I've always been a big "Will & Grace" fan).

It just seems like the characters have become more loud and shrill rather than funny...and the writing has gone downhill BIG TIME! It's really too bad. :(

I've always thought this show was a hit or miss show. When it hits, it's off the charts funny.
When it misses, it's painful to watch.
Debra Messing's absence is a big factor for this week's no-laugh episode.
As good as Karen is, they focused too much on her to fill Grace's void, and too much Karen is just....well...too much, in my opinion.

I'm telling you, the Leo subplot is ruining the show.

I hate to say it- because a baby ruins everything for a sitcom- but it would have been better if Grace actually had Will's child like they were planning.

The show is Will and Grace- not Will, Grace, and Leo.
Now with Grace being pregnant by Leo we will have W&G separated even more- or some nasty divorce subplot.

At least if it was Will's kid Will would have something in his life.
And if it was Will's kid at least they could both explore relationships as parents who are friends- and if they found a significant other they would always be bonded and getting together because of the child.
There would always be Will and Grace.

With the way things are now Will is left out in the cold.
And the show is kinda stale.

I heard that they are not writing the pregnancy into the show and that Leo is only signed on for 10 episodes, so hopefully the show will become Will & Grace again.

And please no babies, Will's, Leo's, anyone. Please, no kids.

I didn't know they weren't writing the pregnancy into the show.
That's good.

Hmm, but what if Karen had kids? Say triplets....

I was trying to figure out where I heard that they were not writing Debra's pregnancy into the show, then realized it was on this board....the D. Messing is preggers thread.

I didn't like it without Grace. It's too weird when any of the characters are missing.

The episode overall, I guess it was OKAY, but it wasn't that great.

I laughed alot at the show last night but not as much as I usually do. I agree that the whole Leo thing is making the show a little less funny. But being that Leo is only in 10 episodes, Grace and him may end the relationship. Which would be good for the show.
