You don't own them uncut with the 2-3 minutes per episode that Nick at Nite has edited out.
callmetootie 04-04-2001, 06:50 PM Are you going to buy them?

panman 04-04-2001, 07:32 PM Notice the videos have subjects and are not in order. Maybe in the future, there will be one called "Maturity" or somethin, and it will have Ready or Not and The First Time!!! Woo Hoo!!!!

The Facts of Life are all about You!
callmetootie 04-04-2001, 07:56 PM Wouldn't that be a hoot! I could only imagine how much constroversy that would cause. That's a good idea though. Let's think of some subjects! Something like "Cooking and Creating" with ones like A Slice Of Life and Dieting. Or maybe like "Father's Day" with ones like The Secret.

Attmay 04-04-2001, 08:47 PM I will most definitely be ordering the set.
callmetootie 04-04-2001, 08:50 PM Just rememeber that buying the series will cost a lot of cash. That's 209 episodes, and $20.00 for 4 a tape. The bill will come to....$1,040.

lesliem14 04-04-2001, 10:25 PM Hey Sara or anyone else that knows:
When you call do you have to use a credit card or can they bill you and then pay by check. I would rather pay by check then use my credit card, but I have to pay my car insurance bill and registration before I order anything!
If you order by phone, I believe you have to use a credit card. But if you order via the regular mail, you can pay by check or money order and they bill you for every video when it arrives.
callmetootie 04-05-2001, 07:36 AM With a check it will take longer to recieve though, because they have to clear and all that stuff.

coily2 04-05-2001, 09:38 AM Just out of curiosity, if I wait until later to start my subscription, will I be started with the current volumes, or will the still start me with the ones listed above? I'm not a huge fan of the Season 1 episodes and don't really want to pay $20 for them.
callmetootie 04-05-2001, 10:10 AM That's not how it works, the videos are split up into different categories. Like the Mrs. Garret tape has episode revovlving around her. The parents tape has episodes revolvong around the girls relationships with their parents.

perezd 04-05-2001, 11:21 AM are u guys sure there releasing the whole series? thats over 50 tapes, I don't know if thats possible for them. Has it been done in the past? I mean I'll order if they have the drug related eps. and the eps. that nick don't want to air. I'll wait a while and view it. And I'll see if it suits for me to buy it. I probably end up buying it any way. It'll take years for them to come out with the whole series on tape. But hey it'll be cool, I'll buy it if its the whole set. expensive but you'll be paying it little by little anyway. So theres no difference.
callmetootie 04-05-2001, 11:28 AM That is a lot of tapes. They have released many tapes of All In The Family, but not the whole entire series. The Facts Of Life tapes are split up into different categories. The categories are like Brothers and Sisters, Parents, Graduating Episodes, Parents, Weddings, stuff like that. You will get 4 episodes on each tape for $19.99. I bet you, that they won't release the WHOLE series, but they will release a good 10 different tapes. I know it's just my opinion, but I don't think that they will release a tape with all of the drug episodes on them. Theyb may release "Dope" if they have a tape that is called "Star's of the 90's In 80's Sitcoms" because Helen Hunt was in it, and they might do "Breaking Point" if they have some like "President" one, because Blair wqas running for class president. I can't see them doing Fear Strikes Back or I'm Dancing As Fast As I Can, unless they have a special "Boyfriends" tape. The First Time might be on a tape called "Growing Up", but I honestly doubt it. Plus, it will take a few years for the series to come out.

Warner520 04-05-2001, 04:26 PM Wait - are both of the intro videos (that have just been released) just $4.95 each ?! Or, is one 4.95 and the other 19.95 ? Please answer !
callmetootie 04-05-2001, 04:37 PM I think that the Mrs. Garret tape is the inrtoductory one for $4.95. The other one is $19.99.

panman 04-06-2001, 09:02 PM callmetootie, why are you so against these videos? It's Columbia's best idea!!!!! They are expensive, but when they come out with a controversial tape, you'll change your mind!

Devastation26 04-08-2001, 12:55 AM I admit that it's one of the best things Columbia House has done, but if they're gonna relese one, they better relase them all!
