I don,t think this series was given enough of a chance.Personally,I thought it was a funny show.I enjoyed it.

I just heard about its cancellation, but had never seen it.

i didnt really like the show, to be honest. --but on a side note, my neighborhood is called "Hidden Hills". :) Thats why I actually gave this show a chance!

Hidden Hills was a sitcom which,like Malcom In The Middle and The Bernie Mac Show,had no laugh track.

I actually think in this day and age with comedies, I think sitcoms these days that don't have a laugh track and make you decide what moments are funny (ala Scrubs, Sex And The City, South Park, Arrested Development) generally work better than most of the canned laughter crap out nowadays. Friends is the only sitcom I watch that's still on that has a laugh track, and my dad ALWAYS makes fun of the "canned laughter" on that show.
