I know this a key episode for any Happy Days fan (being the first episode and all), but I always seem to miss it. The last time it was on, it was my brother's wedding. I couldn't ask to be excused to watch it since I was the maid of honor, but I just want to know what happens during it. :(

From TV Tome:
In this very first "Happy Days" ep., Potsie sets Richie up with Mary Lou Milligan, a girl who has a reputation and looks like Bridget Bardot! Potsie then brings a bra to Arnold's to help Richie practice unhooking it, and Fonzie comes in and unsnaps it off the radiator in the restroom. Richie later goes to Mrs. Kelly's, where Mary Lou is babysitting, and goes through his pre-planned routine. The next day, Richie brags to everyone at a baseball game about what had happened, and Richie later tells her what he did, and then Fonzie sets up a date with Mary Lou!

 Risque first episode. Wait a minute....since when has Potsie had experience with a bra?

I loved those early episodes when they used film. Potsie was a different character back then, he wasn't the idiot they later made him in to. Maybe he was slapped too many times from trying to unhook those bras it affected him.

I agree. I liked Potsie's character. But I do LOVE the 80's episodes. Ralph was also really funny in the earlyer episodes.

The early episodes are the best IMO. (or at least Seasons 1-4).
