It's the year 2003. Arnold and Willis are still living in the same house. Mr. Drummond has moved out to live with fellow senior citizens in Florida. Kimberly has died. Other than that, things haven't changed much for the forty-year old brothers. Now, someone who they assumed was long dead is about to return.

Diff'rent Strokes Opening

Starring Gary Coleman
and Todd Bridges

Willis: Hey Arnold, have you seen my basketball jersey?

(Arnold is listening to music and doesn't hear Willis)

Willis: ARNOLD!

(Arnold is irritated)

Arnold: What you talkin about, Willis?

Willis: Arnold, I was asking you if you knew where my jersey is. I'm going to ride my bike down to the local court and shoot some hoops with kids.

Arnold: Willis, you're forty-three years old. If you play basketball with a bunch of kids, don't you think people will say things?

Willis: Like what?

Arnold: I don't know. It's just not natural for grown men to be spending a lot of time with young boys.

Willis: Arnold, you say the craziest things sometimes. Oh look, there's my jersey. See ya.

Arnold: Yeah, I'll see ya. (Willis leaves) Gosh, I wish Willis had more sense. I mean, who spends all their free time with a bunch of little kids?

CUT TO: The Bicycle Shop

Owner: Well, I'm certainly glad you're taking back you're old shop, Mr. uh?

Mr. Horton: (enters) Horton.

Owner: That's right. Mr. Horton.

Mr. Horton: My friends call me Curly.

Owner: I'll bet they do. (notices his bald head) Are you sure you're up for this? I mean, it says here you're eighty-five years old.

Mr. Horton: Eighty-three. That's a typo.

Owner: Oh. Well, I'll leave you to your job. Hey, I see a customer coming now.

Mr. Horton (excited): Where? (sees Willis) Ah, it's just a grown man.

Owner: What?

Mr. Horton: Nothing. (owner exits)

(Willis enters)

Willis: Good morning, Mr. Bicycle Man.

Mr. Horton: Good morning.

Willis: Have we met before?

Mr. Horton: Did you ever do time at County?

Willis: Of course not....I did all my time at Sing-Sing.

Mr. Horton: Oh. What's your name?

Willis: Willis Jackson.

Mr. Horton: Jackson, huh?

Willis: Yes, sir.

Mr. Horton: What can I do for you, Mr. Jackson?

Willis: I need my bike to be fixed.

Mr. Horton: Oh well let me take a look at that. (glances quickly) Well, that's gonna have to be an overnight job. Tell you what, you leave me your address and a key to your place and I will return it to you by morning.

Willis: Well.........Mr. Horton, you got yourself a deal.
(starts to leave)

Mr. Horton: Hey, Willis.

Willis: Yeah?

Mr. Horton: (sincerely) I'm gonna have a real good time fixing your bike.

(audience applauds)
