The house seen in the show,s openning credits[which in real life is 89-70 Cooper Avenue],looks nothing like the set interior used for the Bunker house. The house seen as the exterior, appears to be a cemie attached house, with two windows on either side of the front door, with barely any front porch.Just tiny stone steps. The Bunker house,s interior has one livingroom window to the left of the front door, and a fair sized front porch.I don,t think the Bunker house was supposed to be a cemie attached house either. One other thing interesting that I,ve noticed,is the remarkable resemblance between Barney Hefner,s house and the Stivic house. They almost look like the excact same house. But that,s just because the same set interior was used for both homes on the show.

Looks like the house in theopening credits had a INSIDE PORCH and the bunkers did not have a inside porch on the show.
