Hmmm well...You can still play ROM's and stuff on your computer if you have XP, but be sure you have a lot of memory. I think that's what the problem was with mine, I don't have enough memory. :( It doesn't permanently damage anything on your comp if it crashes, it mainly just froze up on me so I would have to restart...No biggie.

I used to play that when I was little. I had family friends that had (and still have) and NES and they have Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros (In the same cartridge), among others. They had a lot of other games like The Adventures of Lolo. My favorite one, though, was Chip N'Dale Rescue Rangers. THAT was a great game. Unfortunately, the last time I heard, their NES wasn't working well. :(

I remember reading a topic that Nate posted about this. If I had pre-ordered Wind Waker I would have gotten Ocarina of Time for GameCube. :(. I found out about this like over five months after. I'll have to find the thread. It was a very good thread he posted (Which was a rare occurence).

At the peak of NES's popularity, my mom worked at a video store so we got to have a lot of used games...We had 30+ games by the time my mom quit working there in 1992. We brought about 1/4 of our games new, though, and the Zelda games were two of them...

Crash Nitro Kart was released today. It's the second Crash Bandicoot racing game. I've been looking forward to that game for months. I've always been a fan of Crash Bandicoot.

I have Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland for Game Boy Advance. It's basically a port of Kirby's Adventure for NES. I want to get Kirby Super Star and Kirby's Dream Course for SNES, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, and Kirby Air Ride (I want to rent it first because it didn't get a lot of good reviews). I also like Kirby's Avalanche for SNES (I played it years ago) but I have a very similar game for GC, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Part of the Sonic Mega Collection)

Actually, Super Mario Bros. 2 was a conversion of a Japanese game called Doki Doki Panic. There was a Super Mario Bros. 2 game that was like the first one but it was released only in Japan. This was because it was very difficult. This was called Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels. It was included in Super Mario All-Stars for SNES.

Rare makes the best games. They are the ones that brought the Donkey Kong Country series to the SNES, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64 (Possibly my most favorite video game of all time) and Conker's Bad Fur Day to Nintendo 64. I wish Nintendo still owned Rare. Now Rare is making games for Microsoft Xbox although they are releasing games for the Game Boy Advance.

Yep, and Snake Rattle 'n Roll was one of Rare's first games. I have almost all the Rare games you mentioned - I have the DKC trio, BK, DKR and DK64. Man. Now I want to play video games!!!!!

I know it's 4am, but this has been bugging me.

1) It's been proven on this site more than once that if you want something done about about people like Dorothy, SBTBPrincess, Brandon, whoever, you have to make a stink about it. Simply telling TJ does not work. Trust me...we've been through this.

Is that Chris' fault? NO. NOT AT ALL. TJ had given Dorothy, or whoever she really is, too many chances and it had gone too far. So, to protect all of us, Chris did some investigating. He found out things were bad, he alerted everyone. I did the same thing with Brandon. It was the only way would found to do it and get results.

The result? We mods lose the ability to see IPs. Again, you go and blame Chris. Is it his fault? NO! He did what he thought was right....and I agree. It's not his fault that TJ decides he's getting tired of the board and having to deal with the "troublemakers," yet he won't let us do anything. You know what will happen? Losers will come in droves and just keep making names and acting like other people. We could keep them at bay, but we can't do anything but close topics. Chris didn't take that away...

I guess what I'm saying is this....Brian....STAY OUT OF IT. You can keep thinking whatever the hell you want, but don't you dare keep talking about Chris like this. HE DID NOTHING TO YOU. You don't like losing your power? Whine to TJ.


And if this little bit of free speech gets me banned, so be it. Last time I checked, this was a free country where we could speak our minds without fear of prosecution.
