Did Unsolved Mysteries broadcast a segment concerning the 1978 murder of Karla Brown in Wood River Illinois? If a segment was broadcast, what was the reason? The case was solved in 1982 using forensic odontology, enhanced crime photographs and psychological profiling. John Prante was convicted of the first degree murder of Karla Brown and sentenced to 75 years in prison in July 1983.

I don't remember that case, and since it was solved 5 years before UM premiered, I don't see any point in it being shown.
