Did anyone watch the series when it was on in 1979-1980. It may sound like a silly question as it was #74 of #74 sitcoms in the ratings, but I was just wondering if anyone even knew about The Facts in 1979-1980.

I might have started watching it then, but I can't remember. I started watching it proberly during the 2nd or 3rd season. After it was on a few years, it was running in reruns on some channel, and I got to see the 79 season.

about season 5 here (was about 4 in 83-84). That was around the same time NBC would air reruns in the morning
I watched some episodes during the first season in 1979. I had originally seen Gary Coleman on Fernwood Tonite, so when he got his own show, I watched that too. That's how I saw some of the unfocused season one Facts episodes. Then I started watching in earnest when Facts was the lead-in to Quincy on Wednesdays. That's when the Jo character was introduced, which set up an interesting dynamic with the Blair character. In those TV days, there were no shows with juvenile leads that really played to their respective extremes of character like the Jo-Blair ensemble. It might have been the first time for TV kids playing so broadly to type.
