I was looking on tvtome.com for information about episodes, and saw something that surprised me quite a bit. In the little episode note thing that they sometimes write stuff in underneath the episode description, it said that the guy who played Jackie's younger, abusive boyfriend Fisher on the show, was actually her real life boyfriend at the time, and father of one of her children. Is that true? For some reason, I don't know why, but I find that hard to believe. I know that they use guest contributors on tvtome, and some of them probably make stuff up, so I'm not sure if this is true or not. If it is true, are they still together today? Hopefully this hasn't been asked, or mentioned here before. If it has been, I apologize, but I don't recall ever reading anything about it.

It is true and imdb.com says that they are still together. There son is Will Theron Metcalf, born in '93.

Wow, for some reason I find that incredible. It must have been kind of strange for him to play in a role where he's beating on his real life girlfriend. I would find that odd. I just had a funny visual of the two of them walking down the street together, and some old lady who obviously takes the show way too seriously comes up to Laurie and says: I can't believe you stayed with the bum, and then hits him with her purse or something. LOL! That's a funny visual. Anyway, it's cool to hear that they are still together today. Having a relationship in Hollywood last that long is a pretty rare thing, hopefully Laurie's relationship with Matt will last forever. Thanks for the info guys', it's appreciated!

Anybody head anything about Laurie lately? She seemed to drop out of the lime light mostly since the end of Roseanne.

Well, maybe I should put it another way: she couldn't find the right show after Roseanne.

I remember her on Norm, which was an okay show. She was absolutely hilarious as "Spider" from an episode of "Dharma & Greg," and she got nominated for an emmy for her performance on "3rd Rock," which was great,

Then there was that "Charlie Lawrence" last summer which lasted what, two episodes?

I'd love to see her back in something as the star- she's a fantastic actress and I do miss her, perhaps more than I miss Roseanne herself.

Can't forget the thousand Lifetime movies she's done. Great actress! Can't wait to see her in something that lasts.

P.S. She was in the Scream movie too, right?
