Do you guys remember when Naomi had her baby?
She was so cute... I wonder how she looks today?

Yep!! That was in the last ep of Mama's Family, sadly....I would have really liked to see how they dealt with a baby on that show. :D

I wonder the same thing -- Naomi gave birth in 1990, so Tiffany Thelma Harper (What a nice name! :D) would be 13 now. ;)

You would definitely notice a change with Mama, because she looks a lot more older than she did 13 years ago ;)

Personally, I didn't think much of the baby. I actually thought they were the weaker eps of the whole series. The only really funny baby storyline was the breathing class, and even that wasn't a real rotfl...

I agree that the last episode wasn't very funny. However, the episodes leading up to the last one were really funny. I love the adoption one and the breathing class one (two of my favorites). I also like the "Dame" one too!

A reunion show would be so cool! :D

What did you guys find so amusing about that episode? I honestly could probably watch it and keep a straight face. None of the baby storylines ever clicked for me. In fact, the whole last season was kind of blah. You had Bubba just lolling around, showcasing himself, or in Mama's words, being a "hot-shot college man", you had Mama totally softening up, smiling all the time, Vint & Naomi concerned only with the baby...honestly, the only character that seemed to remain the same was Iola...the only truly memorable ep in the final season was "The Big Nap", IMO...

Well for me, I think the funniest moment is when Vint, Naomi, and Mama are in the trailer as Naomi's goin' into labor, Vint is totally freakin' out and goes somethin' like, "It's comin' Mama, it's comin'!!" and Mama goes, "I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!!!"

And Iola showin' Tiffany Thelma her lint picture is funny..."Look darlin', Mary and her little lamb!" lol.

And then when Naomi says somethin' about she can't have her baby comin' out into the world and seein' it's mother like this, and Mama says, "Either way that kid's in for a shock." :lol:

Oh, and:

Naomi: "I think it's time."

Vint: "Time for what?"

Naomi: "HOOOOOoohhhh!!"

Mama: "Ooohh well it sure the h*ll isn't Miller tiiiime!"

I think it's a good episode, and one that I would prefer to watch over a few others. :)

That is one of my favorite episodes! I agree that they should have had more episodes after Tiffany's birth so we could see how Naomi and Vint handled a baby. I would also love to see how she turned out 13 years later. Maybe be like her mama Naomi or her grandma Thelma? Who knows?

I think Mama and Naomi would have fought forever on what that baby's name was if the series had continued. Naomi would call her Tiffany, and I'll bet that Thelma would call her Thelma. LOL

Yes, Baby Tiffany is adorable. But she sure looked mature for a 2 hour old baby!:lol: And how on earth did they get the baby and Naomi cleaned up in that motor home?:crazy:

Thelma would be babysitting her and she would call her Thelma or little Thelma and her parents would call her Tiffany. She wouldn't know what to go by or answer to, poor kid. I say call her Tiffany Thelma that way Thelma and Naomi would both be satisfied. In the Harper household, you never win!:baby:
