View Full Version : Mr. Murder pts 1 & 2
AngeFaitore 11-04-2003, 10:36 AM Who has seen the mini-series Mr. Murder featuring Thomas Haden Church as Drew Oslett jr. ?
I liked it alot (taped it off USA yesterday). Thomas' acting is great, his suits were wonderful and I loved the way he wore gold bands on every finger of his hand, except for thumbs.
mrsthomashadenchurch 11-05-2003, 06:31 PM This movie is one of my favorites of him. I bought the DVD. He looks really good in this movie and it was wierd to see all of the rings, they looked good.

Yeah, whatever.
I'm thinking about giving up on Thomas.
Why should I keep striving for something I'm never going to get?
Obviously you're a much better fan then I am...
Plus, if I keep wishing for him, I'm just going to keep hurting inside.

Hmmm....must be the restraining order went into effect today!
(Don't get discouraged, Ange...It's tough lusting after a celebrity....I went through the same thing a few years ago with Bea Arthur!)

Like I keep tellin' ya, I'm not a stalker, so just drop it.
I've told people on the Ned and Stacey board that one day I'd like to be a scriptwriter
and my dream is to create a movie or TV series with him if he ever discovers
my work.
I guess it isn't a very realistic dream...

Ange, I know that you're not really a stalker....that was just one of those smart-aleck "Brian Hackett"-type lines that I couldn't resist!
As far as writing a script for Thomas Haden Church goes, you certainly have a lot of room for creativity there....He's such a versatile actor that you could create just about ANY kind of a story and character and they would be realistic possibilties for him!

Bah! (my favorite grunt)... I still like Thomas and he's probibly one of the world's greatest actors... but that's my opinion.
I wish I could stop romantizizing him.
It's the magic of Thomas Haden Church, man. He's got this special inner magic, I'm tellin' ya!
He just lurs you in with the blue eyes and the charm and the lanky build and the talent...
Why is it that no female can resist him?.. and why is he not an A-list celebrity?
Oh yeah... tabloids. I hate those dudes. I'd like to make the money, though.

Mr. Church is not alone....He must suffer from some sort of "WINGS Curse". Outside of Tony Shalhoub, NOBODY on "Wings" has achieved the "A-list" celebrity status that they deserve....
And of course, the series itself has never achieved the "A-list" popularity and respect that IT so richly deserves!

It feels a bit weird that you're actually replying on a business day. Usually members don't start replying until later in the afternoon because of college, high school or work (I'm not in school because... driving test! Third time! Plus my English teacher lied to the whole class by telling us that we had Thursday off... we only have Friday off... BAH!).
I kind of apologize for bad spelling and bad mood. I was really, really tired yesterday. Actually, my spelling is still bad and I'm too lazy to edit it. I really am a good writer... I'm just acting sloppy.

I don't have a "9 to 5" office job....My work as a real estate appraiser means a different schedule every day. Some days I'm nowhere NEAR a computer....on THOSE days I'm on the road all day inspecting homes. However, there are other days (like today) where I'm sitting at the computer in my home office entering appraisal reports....and when I take a break between reports is when I check in on the message board. (When it's REALLY busy I frequently work late into the night entering reports!).
Actually, my work schedule is a lot like the crazy, forever-different work schedule of the Hackett brothers....some days I'm "out of the office" and "working out in the field" more than others!

I actually post here a lot in the morning when I wake up at 10:00 (hehehe) and check my e-mail, and this board before I do homework. I don't have my first class until 2 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 3:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. :D Nice schedule. I don't get home until almost 7:30 PM though, But I don't care. I like the schedule I have this semester..

Well, I realize that not EVERYBODY has 9-5, but I was kind of wondering why, because
people have alot to do during the week, not just work (Grocieries, home repair... ect). Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Like I said, I haven't been the sharpest tool lately.
Oh well, there will be better days :)
Ah, let's talk about something else for a while... or close this thread. It's beginning to make no sense.
Sorry, I TRY not to argue!
