Taking Lives: Serial killer films continue to pour out of Hollywood, although already this one which stars the likes of Angelina Jolie, Kiefer Sutherland, Olivier Martinez, and Ethan Hawke is already getting some good buzz. 'GB' was shown an early trailer this week and jots down what we'll soon be able to see for ourselves in theatres - the film itself though won't hit til late February: "The killer's mother says: "My son was a deeply, deeply disturbed person. How can I explain how dangerous he was? Not was... Is." We learn that Jolie is some kind of crime scene investigator for the FBI (a la "Bone Collector"), and we hear her explaining the details about a particular murder victim. "The chopping of the hands, [something mentioned about the face], it shows the killer trying to get some kind of sexual gratification." We see a man, presumably a coroner, and hear him say "I did the best I could with this guy", seemingly disgusted at the condition of a murder victim he sees. He then says he saw the killer and could identify him. We see a police sketch of Sutherland with a beard, and it is shown to the mother. She says it could be her son, but that's impossible, since he died 19 years ago (in an impressive-looking car accident, involving an SUV flying throught the air). We learn that the killer (Sutherland) faked his own death in that accident, and has been killing people ever since and taking on their identities. We see Jolie having sex with someone, at which point we hear her telling her boss that her judgment regarding a witness (the man) has been compromised. We see Sutherland confronting someone (possibly Jolie) and demanding to know what she told the police about him. We see the stars, production company, and title... We see the killer's mother again, and hear her saying "Something terrible's going to happen"." Thanks again to 'GB'.

Sounds like its going to be a good movie.
