It looked worse than it actually was. Plus it's still early in the season. --------------------- Duncan Injured in Road Loss Malik Rose gave San Antonio a two-point lead with 2:41 left, but the Grizzlies closed with a flurry as the short-handed Spurs lost 88-80 Monday in Memphis. Tim Duncan scored 10 first-quarter points before leaving with a mildly sprained ankle. http://www.nba.com/media/spurs/spurs_pod_031101.jpg EricIdlefan 11-04-2003, 10:50 PM He is not only a good player but an excellent role model!! Well he won't be able to show hs basketball skills for a while because he is out 3 weeks Pedantic 11-05-2003, 02:11 AM Dammit, I thought I was going to avoid injury by taking Duncan with my first pick. Now who's gonna get me any blocked shots? I hope I get lucky and he's only out a week. TVFactFan 11-05-2003, 06:54 PM Originally posted by MonarC oh shut up... it was only a minor sprain. TVFactFan 11-15-2003, 01:10 AM Originally posted by EricIdlefan Glad it isn't a knee-ending thing!!! Can't believe the Sixers beat the Spurs without BIG DOG isiahthomas 11-15-2003, 11:51 AM I watched the Sixers & Spurs game last night. Samuel Dalembert for the Sixers is good. He's a good shot blocker & rebounder. What was up with him yesterday having his sock pulled all the way up & his other sock down? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Bill Walton said last night that a couple of nights ago when the Sixers played Washington that Samuel fouled Gilbert Arenas very hard near the end of the game. At the end of the game, Gilbert went into Philly's locker room looking for Samuel to confront him about that hard foul. Bill said that was uncalled for. Samuel did get fined though i heard. Iverson is the man. He was unstoppable in that Washington game a couple of nights ago & he was unstoppable last night. He is too much to handle. Robert Horry should've played a lot more last night cause Rasho Nesterovic is a big softie. All he does is clog up the middle. He's so soft. He ain't gonna bang with nobody. isiahthomas 11-15-2003, 11:52 AM LOL@Glenn Robinson's suit last night hahahahahahahahahaha. Great game since I caught a glimpse of it!! Yes!! I agree with Walton!! Very, very, uncalled for!! Iverson is an excellent player but a bad attitude!! isiahthomas 12-01-2003, 01:52 PM I noticed Monarc hasn't posted about the Spurs in awhile. They lost to Golden State Saturday 91-89. Tim Duncan had 27 points. Nick Van Exel had 29 points for the Warriors. The Spurs aren't doing that well this season. Their record is 9-8. Denver is doing better than the Spurs LOL. sinatrastar 12-01-2003, 03:49 PM How about that horrible game the Spurs played against the Lakers? TVFactFan 12-01-2003, 03:54 PM Originally posted by isiahthomas I noticed Monarc hasn't posted about the Spurs in awhile. They lost to Golden State Saturday 91-89. Tim Duncan had 27 points. WOW isiahthomas 12-01-2003, 06:57 PM So what if Denver is 10-6, they're still better than the Spurs. The Spurs did play terrible against the Lakers. I figured the Spurs wouldn't be that good this yr anyway cause David Robinson & Stephen Jackson aren't there. Rasho Nesterovic is no David Robinson. Plus the Spurs bench is wack. Robert Horry & Ron Mercer haven't been good pickups so far cause they haven't been providing much offense. I like that young guy Jason Hart the Spurs have. He should play a lot more minutes. EricIdlefan 12-07-2003, 09:17 PM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer Yeah Denver is 10-6. WOW Denver won over KC today!!! |
