Have you guys noticed that when Jo arrived at Eastland, her first few years she had a "city" accent, but as the years went by, her voice changed.

Yea, I think that it died down after a while because she wasn't around other people with the accent, but she still did keep a trace of the accent throughout the run of the show, even today sometimes you can hear it, even though she tries to hide the accent.

Yeah I noticed that. But I think that's totally what would happen. I sort of am having the opposite happen to me. I'm from New Jersey and go to school near Boston. When I go home for breaks my mom has noticed that I'm starting to talk with a Bostonian accent. It's kind of funny to see her reaction.

Blair: (Cliff's parents) live on a farm.
Tootie: A farm?
Jo: As in e-i-e-i-o?

Jo: Which one's the pig?
Tootie: That's predictable Jo, insulting Blair.
Jo: I wasn't insulting Blair, I...
All: was insulting the pig!
