Talk back to the screen...you know, like..."Don't go in there!" That junk. You make an ass out of yourself AND it's pretty sad :)

You know...not that I've ever done it. Seriously.

I'll never forget this:

When I went to see The Others at this big multiplex I got the Royal Movie Theater Refund Demand Special:

People talked the whole time.
People talked on cell phones
The person behind me kicked my chair repeatedly.
The people in front of me talked to the movie:
"Girl, you better haul ass!" was one fond moment.

It was so bad, I just laughed to myself, because really you can't yell at a mob and expect to live.

Stand up at the beginning of the movie and say loudly to your friend "I'm so glad we're seeing this again! I can't believe that at the end they all die!"

And people, don't bring babies to the theater  sheesh. The kid's not gonna appreciate it and the other people there certainly won't.

Don't dare your friend to fake an orgasm...don't even joke around with the idea. You'll regret it for the rest of your life. I had to learn that the hard way.

1. never sit next to an annoying girl from your spanish class who just happens to be there with her boyfriend. because, you see, they'll end up making out and going at each other's throats the entire movie, and end up having sex! i totally missed the entire movie, just married, because of this.

2. never sit in front of a big family, of persians, none the less. (i'm persian, persian pride, yeah, yeah...but omg. we are so loud) the kids were so damn loud. and their parents were even louder. shut up already! (legally blonde ruined as a result)

3. never sit next to a kid with gas problems..oh man, people seriously take advantage of fresh air.

4. never sit next to a four year old kid who asks his dad every second "did he really meant that?" "why'd he say that?" "dad, did you hear that?" and also...whose dad goes to the bathroom and when he comes back, the kid, at the top of his lungs, summarizes what happened. (ruined johnny english)

5. never sit in front of teens who feel the need to repeat every line from the movie

6. turn your damn cell phone off once inside! remember...silence is golden.

7. if you're going to drink an icee, make sure you have a jacket and you don't have to pee (i had to pee soo badly the first time i saw chicago.)

i've had really bad experiences at the amc.

Of course, you would have to bring a BIG purse, many plastic bags (it could get really messy in there!) and use extreme discretion when sneaking in the steaks...Oh, can't forget the forks & knives. :D

That's good! That's REALLY good! Okay, here are a few of mine:

1.) Midway through a speech, start clapping. Slowly work it into a full-blown standing ovation with cheering and whistling. Immediately sit back down, quietly, as if nothing happened.
2.) Sit at the back row on opening night, when everyone is dressed in costume, and take the lid off your drink and chuck it into the audience.
3.) In one of the scenes, run up tho the screen pointing and yelling to everyone that one of the guys way back in the distance is actually a relative of yours who was on holiday where the filming was taking place, then run around screaming: "I know him! I know him!"
____________________________________________________

FYI, none of these things have to be something that you have done or things that have happened to you. They can be just things that you think was funny. I dunno it's hard to explain, and I'm not doing a good job of explaining it.

I wish I could do that, I know some people off of the movie 'drumline'!

1) never sit behind people with big hair.
2) don't bring flashlights! (although one time my mom accidentally sat on someone's lap because it was so dark in the movies...)
3) if something is funny and you're the only one whos laughing incessantly, step outside...
4) if you go to a movie theater and it says "for 18 and over", don't go get 17 of your friends!
5) leave your pillows at home!
6) Don't have a Thanksgiving feast at the movie theater.
7) when a song comes on, PLEASE don't sing, or stand up and try to do what the professionals do...

If you have bronchitis or a really bad cough, go home and go to bed and come back some other time - like when you're over it!

If you have to get up and relieve yourself, when you go back, don't come back and start asking "what'd I miss?!"

Crack your knuckles

OK, true story: When my Dad was in the navy, he and his buddies had picked up a couple of cases of beer and decided soon after to take in a movie. Well, these crazy sailors had the idea to sneak in some of the cans of beer in the deep pockets of their Navy peacoats. So they're sitting there watching this movie and getting loaded and one of the guys attempts to set down his beer can -- which was the worst thing he could have done, since the floor was on an incline. So the damn can starts rolling down the theater floor -- tinkle tinkle tinkle tinkle -- all the way to the bottom and every single person in that theater looked up at my Dad and his friends and all started laughing at once. Even the ushers were laughing too hard to kick them out. :D
