Although it's a small thing, I
really like the photos. I hope
they include as many as they
have as we haven't seen many of
them before. Fill 'em up. Hope
Mary watches and does some
voice-over commentaries. I
doubt they'll be able to turn
up more outside shows like
that charades one, but that's
great stuff. And although I've
read Carl doesn't want to take
them out of character and show
outtakes. I wish they would.
It's really no different than
commentaries or showing photos
of people on the set. But Carl
is the expert on the show, and
I love his comments and input
on these dvds. Thanks to Carl
for everything involved in
all this!

I would not take anything away from what is already there. I love the content. I've even enjoyed finding the "hidden" cigarette commercials and public service announcements. What I would add would be profiles of the guest stars and character actors for each episode, eg. Frank Adamo, Amzie Stickland, Johnny Silver, etc. This show had many great guest stars and character actors. I would like to know more about them. Columbia House does this on the "I Love Lucy" DVDs and I have found it to be a very interesting feature.
These DVDs are wonderful and I am so happy that Image has announced release dates for the last 3 seasons.

This is only a minor detail, I know, but I would have enjoyed more commentaries on each season set, perhaps five or six per season set. I wish that Rose Marie, Larry Matthews, and Ann Morgan Guilbert would do two commentaries for each season, not just the second season set. Alas, I also wish that Mary Tyler Moore and John Rich would do about two commentaries per season. "MY Blond_Haired Brunette" would have been great for this.
