Anyone here have a list of inaccuracies/things that won't happen in a real girls' school?
I haven't seen FOL in a long time (we don't have Nick here in Canada), but from what I remember, a girl at my high school who showed up to class like Jo would be asked to make her uni look neater. We also wouldn't have four girls share a room with unmatching furniture

as someone who goes to an all girls school every day... I don't think that the girls would be able to really cut out of school that easy (in the new girl pt 1/2) and since I havent seen the ep in a while and I don't remember exactly... if i did that w/my friends at a boarding school our parents would definitly be notified immediately. did they even notify blair, jo, etc's parents?

Yepperz. When Mrs.Garrett got them out of jail she told them their parents were all being called or whatever. So yes.

I agree. Unless a school was for troublesome kids, schools like Eastland would have kicked their trouble making kids out so fast! I remember that some 5 or 6 girls were expelled from school one year (not my grade though)

Oh, here's another thing regarding New Girl Pt 1/2 (which I love and was sooo happy to see last night, chanting "I hope this is what I think it is" when the promo started up... LOL!)...
Would they really have Tootie and Nat, a few years younger, in the same dorm as Blair and Jo when living together? I haven't been to boarding school so I don't know how they group by dorms, but that's my belief...

It was all part of the probation thing. They have to live above the kitchen so Mrs Garret could watch them. And the furniture thing I think that was just because that wasn't even a room at first so they had to get some furniture. But if you look closer in "The New Girl 2" you can see Natalie and Tootie's bunker beds in all that mess.

In normal situations, students are grouped according to age in boarding schools since different grade levels tend to have different bedtimes. For example, lightsout for the girls in grades 7-9 at my high school was 10 pm on school nights while it was midnight for seniors.
