Bring Back?

Like Leave it to Beaver. It ended in 1963, yet in the 1980's came back with most of the cast. The Bradys of course kept coming back. What's Happening left and returned years later under the title, "What's Happening Now". WKRP left and returned in the 1990's as "The New WKRP in Cincinnati".

So which show would you like to see come back with new episodes. It would be retitled and not be in the same syndication package as the original series.

My picks:

The New ALF Show - It would feature ALF as he lives in a new home with the original Tanner family. Willie, Kate and Eric that is. Lynne and Brian would make guest appearances once in a while. Now that he's no longer a secret, ALF has some human friends that stop by the house.

Taxi Today - Alex would still be a cab driver. Along side a new group of cabbies. Louie is also still there, much to Alex's dismay. Cast members of the original series would make guest appearances.

Wings: The Next Flight - Joe, Helen, Brian and Roy would be the only cast members from the original series still at the airport. New employees would fill the place and previous cast members would make guest appearances.

Here are my picks:

Coach - to see exactly how Dauber coached the Orlando Breakers to two Super Bowls! (The ever-so-overdeveloped Christine Armstrong, as well as son T. D., would not appear, focusing solely on Hayden Fox, the Breakers, and Breaker management. Coach2K would be an appropriate title.)

Family Matters - for the wedding of Steve Urkel and Laura Winslow. (The name would stay the same.)

Perfect Strangers - to explore how Tucker Appleton and Robespierre Boinky Bartokomous are growing up. The series would be called The New Perfect Strangers, and yes, it would feature Mark Linn-Baker and Bronson Pinchot, as well as Melanie Wilson (Jennifer) and Rebecca Arthur (Mary Anne).

State of Grace - is ABCFamily bringing back this show or not? To cancel this show, which I considered the second coming of The Wonder Years, after but two seasons and 38 episodes makes no sense to me. I mean, they didn't wrap it up!

The Waltons - CBS could resurrect one of America's favorite Appalachian families with a new series, following the family in the 1960s and 1970s. The series would be entitled The New Waltons. (All of the original cast members would be back, except for the departed Will Geer and Ellen Corby.)

The Wonder Years - we the fans did not get to see Kevin and the gang graduate from high school. We could continue the series to follow Kevin through college, and possibly beyond. Names include The College Years for the time spent at a university and The After Years for the years that followed college graduation. Oh, and Kevin's senior year would be season 6 of The Wonder Years (technically, 6½ because of those few episodes during the latter half of the 1987-88 season).

Family Ties..renamed The Ties That Bind. With new episodes and so that we can see if Skippy indeed won Mallory over. Or if, (unfortunately), she stayed with Nick. Too see how Alex is doing and if he's still working on Wal Street. To see Andy all grown up. To see what Jennifer's up too. And of course to see how Elyse & Steven are doing, with all the Keaton kids having moved out.

 That's the one I'd like to see back, and The Wonder Years.

Well, Being that Alia Shawcat (Hannah) is on "Arrested Development" (Great Show, Better than SOG IMHO) now, the chance is very, very, very slim.
