On DS tonight, Mrs. Garrett mentioned that she had a sister named Natalie who lived in Seattle. Ironic that she never mentioned this Natalie on FOL.

I believe I read once where Charlotte Rae had a sister in real life named Natalie and that Mindy Cohn's character was named after CR's sister.

I thought she said her sister Beverly on DS tonight. I did not hear her say Natalie. I read once that Charlotte Rae had a sister named Beverly whom Beverly Ann was named after and a highschool friend named Natalie whom Natalie was named for. At least I think that is what I read. Maybe you are right, though. I've been wrong before!

I thought she said Beverly tonight, but I wasn't fully paying attention.

I watched the episode fairly closely myself and heard Beverly...which of course is neat that they stayed consistent to FOL later on.

She said Beverly. I was amazed at the continuity. Granted, it would have even been better if she referred to her as Beverly Ann. However, when Mrs. Garrett disappeared in the second half of season 7, she said she was going to visit her sister after her divorce, and referred to her as both Beverly and Beverly Ann. So there is some consistency in a way.

But wait - Beverly Ann lived in Appleton, not Seattle. The continuity bug may be quieted, but never silenced!!!! Bwahaaahaa

yea, but if you listened to beverly ann through the seasons when she was on FOL she said how she lived with her husband somewhere other than appleton... so they kinda did stay in consistancy.. but in ways they didn't cuz sometimes mrs. garrett said she was the only girl between her siblings and sometimes she said she had sisters and sometimes she said different.. i remmeber one time she said that she knew a lot about cars or something that boys pay more attention to becuase she had 2 brothers and in Rough Housing didnt she say that she was the only girl?? Maybe it wasn't that episode but it was some episode.. and mrs. garrett mentioned about her siblings in Gossip too, but i don't remember exactly what she said... But isn't hat odd?? that is ONE thign they didn't stay consistant in and believe me there are MANY more! but when i heard beverly come out of mrs. garrett's mouth last night on DS i was in total shock!! I mean that like 8 or 9 years later they she showed her sister beverly!! wow!! hehe...
