He comes off as beeing very friendly in his Emails, but don't be fooled. He is a thief. He even asked me to call him and work out our trade over the phone.

I agree that you MUST stay away from 'anydvdmovie'. He uses the names Gavin Lee, Garret Zenanko, or FULL MOON VIDEOS.

I had a trade going with this person, our trade started a few months ago as we were going to trade for several shows (over 400 episodes) on DVD. I shut down my trading site and had to wait on other trades so I could finish with this one.

I got about 1/2 done when I read a message on here that this trader was bad. I was surprised because I did a search EVERYWHERE to see if this person came up as a bad trader. Nothing came up.

Anyway, I asked the trader if we could just do a small trade now, so I can make sure he's a good trader. He told me he felt 'insulted' that I would even ask that. He claimed the people who were reporting him as a bad trader sent him bad stuff.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt and we agreed to mail last Saturday (small trade). Of course, we would trade with a confirmation number. Anyway, I emailed him Friday night and said I would mail his small package the next day. He lives on the East Coast and I am on the West, so I figured he'd go to the post office first. I checked my email in the morning, before my post office even opened. "Anydvd' had emailed me back with a confirmation number: 0303 4151 1515 6565 1212

I knew right off that the confirmation number was fake. I called the 800 number for the post office and they told me that number was invalid, but I should call the Crystal, MN (where anydvd lives) post office to see if they know anything. I did, they said they couldn't find any information on a package being mailed to me.

So, of course I decided against mailing the package to him. I emailed him back and said the confirmation number he sent me was not real and I would not mail his package until I received the one from him, not before. He got upset and kept saying how he really never trades, only sells (his prices are CRAZY!!). I just asked him for the right confirmation number and he wouldn't give it to me. He then would say that we don't have to trade if I don't want to. He said this AFTER he claimed to have mailed my package.

Today, I received an email from him that said he put a stop on my package and cancelled the confirmation number. That is impossible because the confirmation number was fake.
So, PLEASE stay away from him, and especially don't buy.

You guys really need to report this activity to Internet Fraud and Mail Fraud. They really do go after these idiots. Just ask ole ragstorichesfan@aol.com I reported him and feel no remorse about it, He did make good on the sale except he still got me as he sent me a bunch of junk that hardly plays, what did I expect anyway I guess. I am almost inclined to reopen the case against him, it p'od me that bad!

Yes Ragstoriches@aol.com is a very bad trader and seller. I have found new info on him and found someone he ripped off for a 100 dollars by saying the money order got lost in the mail. The person had their receipt and they had proof that it had been cashed. Ragstoriches also goes by Gothammaster@aol.com and you can do a search on google with that and he posted on a disney trade list and he put down his name as Joe! This is a serious bad trader.

So sorry to hear about this other bad trader. I don't think anyone can put a stop to a package though.

It is a typical practice of bad traders to claim that the problem is with the USPS. Lying is what bad traders do best, which is why one ought to steer clear of anyone that lies at any time while working on a trading agreement. :rolleyes:

I know exactly who you guys are talking about. One of the names he goes by on the board is specialized.

He sent me an email wanting to trade and he wanted 48 tapes. I looked his list over and found some things that would finish my collection of some shows so I emailed him asking what episodes he had of that show and etc.

I heard from him 5 days later and he asked me how his tapes were coming along and that he had mine finished. I emailed him back and asked him how he had mine finished when he never answered my email on the episodes he had and I had never told him even what shows I wanted. I haven't heard from him since. If I still got it I'll post the list he sent me so you guys can all look it over and see what he has and what the prices look like and you can beware of any lists popping up under a different name remotely like that!

I didn't even think about him being a bad trader as he was pretty nice and knew about alot of shows and all. It's just when he said that he had my 48 tapes done in 4-5 days when he didn't even know what tapes I'd wanted yet!

He does seem nice on the email while your trading. i still havent heard nothing back from that guy about him mailing out my videos

Man are those some crazy prices. 4 tapes for the gummi bears is like 200 dollars. Simpsons 600 dollars. Some of the shows he has he might not have. It's his way of making it easier to rip people off. No one will ever know for sure. But it sure is tempting. Season 2 inspector gadget is very hard to find. I only have season 1. I know he got married with children from Jason who he ripped off.

he also got boy meets world from me as well he said he had them once before but his got damaged. and its not a complete set either i owe him one more video which i was gonna send out the next day because 12 videos wouldnt fit in my package. i agree with you collinwood he may not have all of those. i even asked him i bet you dont even have diffrent strokes that i was getting from him. i said i bet you just put some of that stuff on your list to get what you want am i right? because he ripped me off to and yes they are really crazy prices

I have been having *fun* with this pinhead. I basically told him to STOP taking money from people. I know there are people out there who would actually pay some of the prices he is asking. Here are a few of the lovely emails I have receieved from him. The first one being about the negative comments on the net about him.

"as far as bad postings go on the net, its not like i really need to explain it, but its these two guys that i did a trade with , a big mistake of mine, they send me some crap and i sent them something i posted them and now they said they were going to go out of there way to ruin my business if u want to buy into that, then go ahead.. 2 people i have dealt with out of hundreds... only two that have ever said anything bad, and they are just responded to what i said to get back... but like i said, ya know i usually sell, so i doesnt bother me if you dont want to trade.. good luck on your journey. I would be surprised if this guy is older than 12.

big mistake of mine for trading with him thats for dang sure. my tapes were good quality even sent him my original copies

Well here is the end of my story.

As i wrote back in the other post, i sent him $20.00 for one dvd so i could preview the quality. Then i came aware that this guy is a fake from all the post about him. I emailed him and said please send my money back as i did not want to go through with it. He made up some excuses and gave me a fake traking # (just by looking at it, you could tell he hit a bunch of random # and letters HA)

So since i sent him the money via Paypal i filed a claim with them against him. And about 3 hours after the claim was sent He refunded my money. I guess i was lucky.
really if i lost $20 bucks it would have not been a BIG deal... i mean most of you guys on here lost a LOT more.

I would continue to take action against him, if i where you.

I myself have never seen anyone with some of those complete sets but just think you can always get misc. episodes and put a set together with some patience and time plus your not dealing with this jerk in the meantime!
