I :heart: Lucy! :D

I vote for Honeymooners, because their stories were funnier and had more variety. While Lucy was also very good, I lost count of how many episodes where the plot involved trying to sneak her way into Ricky's show.

Also, the fact that Jackie Gleason did not like to rehearse made everything much more spontaneous and funnier. Sometimes, you could tell that he forgot his lines, but either he or someone else would ad-lib something to bail him out.

it doesn't bother me which is the better sitcom i have them both nearly complete and they are great they really got the ball rolling in terms of comedy

Lucy is Queen of Comedy - yes, Jackie is King of Comedy - no.

Both shows are among my all time favourites.Even though many I Love Lucy episodes closely resemble episodes of The Honeymooners,I have to agree that The Honeymooners is funnier.:lol:

I like both shows a lot, but the Honeymooners has always been one of my absolute favorites so I'd have to go with Gleason & the gang. Lucy is great too though. :D
