Yes... Yours Truly had the horrifying experience of sitting in gum. In her favorite pants.

I got most of the Winterfresh (yuck) off with an icecube, and then I tried freezing them, but that didn't work. There's still little pieces on there.

Anyone have any remedies, ideas, etc?! I want my pants back :(

I was in the same situation one day in 8th grade. Someone chewed gun and had the indecency to leave it on the seat. I forget what it was but I got it out completely using some spray. It removes gum from surfaces among other things. I don't know what the spray was or if there are any similar products but I'm pretty sure you'd probably find it in some store.

I have heard peanut butter works, since it has acids in it that dissolves the gum...But, I've heard that tip works best when you get gum in your hair, so I dunno. You could try it though...peanut butter shouldn't stain permanently and it should come right out with a wash. :)

Thanks for the tips, guys! I'm going to try the peanut butter first, seeing as it's 9 at night and I don't feel like going to the store

Anyways, I sat on gum last year and after a lot of picking at it, it just came out in the wash.

I've heard of it. Is it either yellow or orange? Somebody I know had a bottle of that. :D

That goo goo cream does wonders... I had the unfortunate incident of someone putting gum in my hair. Another teacher was able to get it out and the whole incident was done within about 5 minutes... and I went right back to class.

This is true, and it's happened to me before with gum too- Get a brown paper bag, and lay the part of your clothes with the gum on it- face down on the paper- then iron over the spot- most of the gum should melt real quick and go right to the paper bag.
