They say that opposites attract. Ralph and Leather made kind of a cool couple when they dated for one episode. It was too bad that the producers didn't create a long term relationship between these two.

I heard a rumor somewhere that the producers weren't sure how much of a regular character they wanted leather to be. It woulda been nice if they were a couple for a few seasons, or even a few more episodes - it probably would've helped the ratings.
Around the same time they had tried to add other characters; I remember that Stix and some other girl had been shown in previews as recurring characters.

I liked the pairing up of Ralph & Leather. They were opposites, but when they were together sparks kind of flew between them.

We should've seen more of them together
