Fried Green Tomatoes was a good movie. Steel Magnolias is technically a good movie, but a bombardment of female characters front and center makes it almost unwatchable (for me as a guy). Just because you are a GUY ;see TP as a dorkfest. But for a WOMAN is a hot beef cake fest:lol: Shutty! 02-27-2004, 05:36 PM Notting Hill Jerry McGuire Jrnygrl 02-28-2004, 12:34 AM Postcards from the Edge Lovely and Amazing Muriel's Wedding Thelma and Louise  dlemond 02-28-2004, 12:41 AM Originally posted by Shutty! Notting Hill Jerry McGuire Uggh, Again. Jerry Maguire is not a chick flick. Sure it gets all lovey dovey at points, but it is way beyond the qualifications of a chick flick- and basically qualifies itself with Tom Cruise's speech. If you'd like to debate I'll take you on. TJL 02-28-2004, 04:39 AM Originally posted by dlemond Jerry Maguire is not a chick flick. I agree. I don't think it's a chick flick. I LOVED it! Luke Perry had just finished his run and I saw it with the new cast, with Michael Landes and Molly Ringwald. That was a really, really fun show. I got to meet Dexter Fletcher & Molly Ringwald afterwards - one of my favorite memories :D Liza 03-02-2007, 10:54 PM A movie I just saw yesterday, Where the Heart Is. I totally expected it to be a kinda stupid Natalie Portman movie - it was wonderful! I didn't look away the whole time and watched it again later that night. That was a really interesting movie - a little melodramatic, but totally engrossing. I got the book today :) comedyfreak 03-03-2007, 05:16 AM Steel Magnolias My Girl Terms Of Endearment In Her Shoes catlover79 03-03-2007, 11:06 AM While You Were Sleeping When Harry Met Sally The Wedding Singer Emma (Gwyneth Paltrow version) Pride & Prejudice (Colin Firth version) canuckkidd 03-03-2007, 02:18 PM Pretty in Pink Some Kind of Wonderful Can't Buy Me Love Say Anything Beaches CheersChild4life 03-04-2007, 06:15 PM Beaches(my all time favorite movie), Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, Terms of Endearment, When Harry Met Sally!
