My Girl
My Girl 2

They might be considered chick flicks, but I thought they were pretty good movies.

Top Gun a chick flick?
maybe a dorkfest, but I don't know many women who site Top Gun as a favorite movie or chick flick.

Fried Green Tomatoes was a good movie.

Steel Magnolias is technically a good movie, but a bombardment of female characters front and center makes it almost unwatchable (for me as a guy).

Just because you are a GUY ;see TP as a dorkfest. But for a WOMAN is a hot beef cake fest:lol:

Uggh,

Again.

Jerry Maguire is not a chick flick.
Sure it gets all lovey dovey at points, but it is way
beyond the qualifications of a chick flick- and basically
qualifies itself with Tom Cruise's speech.

If you'd like to debate I'll take you on.

OMG, I saw that play when I was in London! I LOVED it! Luke Perry had just finished his run and I saw it with the new cast, with Michael Landes and Molly Ringwald. That was a really, really fun show. I got to meet Dexter Fletcher & Molly Ringwald afterwards - one of my favorite memories :D

A movie I just saw yesterday, Where the Heart Is. I totally expected it to be a kinda stupid Natalie Portman movie - it was wonderful! I didn't look away the whole time and watched it again later that night. That was a really interesting movie - a little melodramatic, but totally engrossing. I got the book today :)

I think any version of that book is great. Even the Bollywood Bride and Prejudice was a surprisingly good movie.
