I didn't catch all of it last night, but from what I saw, it was very disappointing. You'd think you'd find some good chemistry between Gary and Kim, who havn't acted with eachother since 1980. I hate her hair today, she has had it died like 4 colors in her life. What happened to that sweet Tootie that we used to know? Gary Coleman looked kind of lost, and Jimmie Walker doesn't look like he should be on TV anymore. The Drew Carey Show is down the tubes if you ask me.

Yes, the Drew Carey thing really bit the big one. I honestly had forgotten that Fields and Coleman had worked together. I don't know why... I knew after the show, but not right then. The hair was bad (obviously a wig). Plus... these were 80's TV stars, and I thought "If you want to break out of 'Tootie,' then why are you doing this?" Of course, what other black teenage girls were on TV in the late 70s & early 80s? Could you see Janet Jackson on there?? I don't think so. Oh well, I saw it, it's over, life is moving on....

I thought it was cleverly done. Ole' JJ looks like he's seen better days though. I guess that's what years of drug abuse will do to you.

I thought Kim and Gary both looked great!

The New Girl was not Gary's and Kim's last working together shot. In Diff'rent Strokes Kim Fields was on Episode 77 in 1981:
77. The Team (11/19/81 - #403)

A happy household is torn by the repercussions of meeting racial quotas -- Drummond faces a lawsuit when he hires a black man from outside his company for a prized executive position and Willis seeks justice when told his color is the only thing preventing him from making the school's predominantly black basketball team.

Cast: Conrad Bain, Gary Coleman, Todd Bridges, and Dana Plato

Guest Stars: Kim Fields as Tootie, Philip Sterling as Conroy, Todd Lookinland as Eddie, and Don Dolan as Coach Nichols
