On ABC:
I'M WITH HER - "THE LAST ACTION QUEERO" - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER
11 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) -- Patrick reluctantly agrees to let
Alex stage a phony breakup in order to pose as macho action
hero Kyle Britton's (Steven Weber, "Wings") girlfriend - to
stave off rumors that he's gay. But an open mic backstage at
a talk show could threaten to out Alex and Kyle's sham
relationship.

Wow, Steven sure has been making the rounds lately! Let's hope that these various guest shots land him a nice starring role in a good TV series or film.

I don't usually watch "I'm With Her", but my wife does....and she'll have me sitting right next to her when she watches it on November 11th!

From what little I've seen, the actor who plays the teacher who's in the relationship is a pretty good actor. It's just that I can't stand to watch an entire episode. I'm mostly glad that Steven is still working and not been tied down to the Brian Hackett role. That's one good thing about a cult hit, the actors don't get typecast. If Wings was as popular as Cheers, maybe it would be harder for them to get past their former roles. Face it, everytime you see George Wendt, no matter what role he's playing, you always think to yourself "NOORRMM!!"

That's one of Steven's strong points as an actor...his versatility. He can play a heavily-libidoed ladies' man in one show or film, a nerdy and pathetic worrier in another, a crazy lunatic in another....come to think of it, ALL of those personalities were a part of Brian Hackett at ONE time or another during the eight seasons of "Wings"!
