Here is an update on Rod Roddy from Claudia Jordan. She posted this on the golden-road.net message board on Monday, October 27, 2003:
I just got in from seeing Rod again.. and let me tell you.. tonight was quite difficult. Brandi SHerwood was there.. so was a former employee of Price... Linda... as well as Lawrence.. and his family. ROd was in a deep sleep... and I dont know if he knew that I was there. Friday when I was there.. we took several pictures. and he was his old self.. almost... he was talking about fighting cancer... and how important it is to get checked for colon cancer early on to prevent all that he has gone through.. even as he laid in bed....... inthe middle of his own battle.....he was warning others to get tested... he fought one hell of a fight,,,,,,,, let me tell you. I wish i had one tenth the tenacity and strength as that man. ANd his charm, and class.. he IS incredible.
