How long did it take before any of you got a job? I've been applying for jobs in the past couple weeks and have posted a resume online, but haven't heard anything yet. I was told at one store I applied to that they might hire people around Christmas time. I'm just wondering.

Ditto. I'm going on 6 months.

Two months of hell. I finally got a response from an agency in Denver on Saturday, though. I've spent at least $1500 since I've moved here and I only have about $80 left to my name.

It took me months. I gave up for awhile and finally landed a job. I'm not sure if I like it, but it's a paycheck. Hang in there!

I got 2 babysitting jobs right away during the summer before senior year. Then that ended, and in August I started to get a couple applications. Then I picked one up in September @ Shaws and got the job like 2 weeks later. Didnt take me too long.

Me, either, but I wanna work at the movie theater for my first job when I get one... I don't know why, but I do. :p

I was lucky, I applied to FYE and they hired me.

I applied somewhere, and my friend told me to call THEM and ask if I got it, to make me look more interested. Is that a good idea?
