Hi there. I just started getting to Cheers on reruns. I went out and bought the first 2 seasons and really enjoyed them so far. I found this place just looking for some info on Cheers. Looks like I may have found the jackpot!! Most of the shows I've seen have been in reruns so I haven't seen all the shows in order. I just got through season 1 and just starting season 2. I'll probably have a few questions as I get caught up on the show so I'll apologize now if I ask questions that have been asked a thousand times before. Looks like people here know what's going on with the show.

Recently I found a couple of my dad's Cheers DVDs that he bought a few years ago lying around the house. When I watched them with him then I found the show to be boring and Diane to be annoying. But when I watched the first couple of episodes on a whim not too long ago, I became obsessed. I haven't seen very many episodes, but I still consider myself to be a huge fan. Sam and Diane have I think even replaced Ross and Rachel as my favorite fictional couple, which is saying something.

I've said many times, that Cheers is by far, in my opinion, the best sitcom ever. It was a much better written and wittier show than Seinfeld, and was as funny but with much broader appeal than All In The Family.
